Kelly is a registered and certified occupational therapist in New York State, and has been a practicing occupational therapist since 2011.

 

Kelly is a dedicated pediatric therapist committed to fostering growth and development in children. Drawing from a rich background in diverse therapeutic settings—including early intervention, outpatient clinics, schools, hospital-based inpatient care, and home-based practice—Kelly brings her expertise and collective knowledge to provide individualized care to each client.

 

Kelly is board certified in pediatrics from the American Occupational Therapy Association, with demonstrated advanced skills, knowledge, and experience with the pediatric population, with a sub-specialty in infant/baby treatment. She has pursued extensive continuing education and holds certifications in neurodevelopmental treatment (C/NDT), kinesiotaping (CKTP), and DIR/Floortime (DIR-Basic), and yoga instruction (RYT 200).  Kelly utilizes a variety of tools and modalities that require advanced training- such as the Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI), The Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), and Therapeutic Listening.  She is committed to continuous learning, enhancing her ability to provide tailored, and effective interventions for babies and children. Kelly to evaluate, analyze, and address a broad range of developmental skills and abilities with a nuanced approach to intervention.

 

Passionate about child-led therapy, where play is the medium for learning, Kelly focuses on creating a nurturing rapport, and a therapeutic environment where children can feel safe, confident, and successful. Each treatment plan is designed thoughtfully to support children and families to navigate their everyday lives with greater ease, and joy.

 

Kelly has a demonstrated history in leadership, and supervision throughout her career. She transitioned to full-time private practice in 2021, servicing families and children throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. The practice has since expanded to include a small collective of like-minded therapists, each with demonstrated and impressive backgrounds. 

 

Kelly lives in NY with her husband, daughter, and pup at home. When she is not playing with babies and children all over the city, she can often be found spending time in nature, cooking, traveling, doing pilates, and spending time with her beloved family and friends.
